William de Morgan is best known for his ceramic tiles depicting humorous animals and birds. His sense of invention and imagination in their portrayal has never been equalled as this design illustrates so well.
His choice of colours is fabulous and gives the design a real feeling of movement and energy. Only the glorious depth and a wonderful sheen of Paterna wools could match the vibrant colours of the original tile.
Design size 15.25 x 15 inches. Kit contains 14hpi colour printed canvas, Paterna wool, black and white chart, needle and instructions.
